I hope to spend my summer making multimedia installation works, including audio, embroidery, and pioneering sculptures, that engage with the Supreme Court's role in the portrayals of LGBTQ+ peoples in American society. Looking directly to the Supreme Court's decision in the case of Boy Scouts of America v. Dale, 530 U.S. 640 (2000), I intend on creating works that engage with the notion of "morally straight." As a career scout, this is my way of questioning the greater judicial institutions of the American government and the feminization of traditional handcraft work. I'm very excited to create significant work with the support of the Graduate Hotel
